Hey Guys,
Got a 36 card sub. back today on the PSA Set Registry special. Most of it was 1975 Fleer Pioneers of Baseball and I now have a complete PSA graded set. My son opens all my subs with me (we don't check on-line prior to). Before we opened he said "Dad, I don't have a good feeling about this one". Well..........he was a little right. I was hoping for 8's and maybe a 9 or two, but it didn't quite work out that way. Got quite a few 7's and one 6.5. But, most were 8's so I'm happy.
I didn't see any prior threads on this set, so I wanted to share it in case people didn't know of its existence. I enjoy baseball history and I found this set covered a lot of the late 1800s/ early 1900's players, most of them are HOF's. I also like that all have actual photos of the players during their playing days. There aren't a lot of PSA graded examples and all of mine were subbed. The brown borders show chipping and the set has a tendency to be off center, so its a treat to find nice raw examples.
Anyway, hope you enjoy and here are some scans of my better examples from the set.

Did you submit cards from your childhood or did you purchase them later to submit?? If you would be willing, I would love to see scans of a few of your 9's and 10's. It definitely is hard to find raw examples with sharp corners and nice centering. Hard to believe the set is almost 40 years old.
